Meet The Team
Neil Logan
I am the founder of Street Assist Edinburgh and responsible for the day to day running and development of the project. I have 20 years’ experience working across various roles within the charity sector in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
I get a great deal of pleasure seeing our volunteers realise their career ambitions through volunteering and the huge impact they make keeping people safe during the busy night-time economy hours in Edinburgh. In my limited spare time, I enjoy photography and my lifelong passion for Sport.
Emily Turnbull
I have been involved with Street Assist since the start of 2020 and I am now responsible for general Office Administration. I have previous experience of working within the Sport and Leisure industry and have also been an experienced First Aider for over 15 years.
Whether our volunteers are with Street Assist to give something back to the community or to help train for future job aspirations, I love seeing them build and develop their confidence and skill set.
Amelia Waspe
I'm the volunteer Fundraising and Marketing Manager here at Street Assist Edinburgh. Originally from London, I moved to Edinburgh to study French and Spanish at University and now work as a People Strategy Manager for NatWest. In my spare time I enjoy hill walks and going to the beach. I joined Street Assist in 2022 and it's great to work with the volunteers and members of the public seeing the impact that your donations have for our charity - I'd love to hear about your fundraising ideas so don't hesitate to get in touch!

I am the Media Manager for Street Assist and have been since December 2022 when Neil had reached about redesigning the website. I currently work in marketing and have done for 2 years, it is something I am very passionate about. This experience has been amazing so far as I have learnt new skills and met great people along the way.
